From Longan Roots to Global Snacks

The Story Behind Harvest Season – Thailand’s Premium Dried Fruit & Vegetable Brand

1993

The Beginning: Fresh Longan & Big Ambitions

Sun Phuchanbanchob and Jiraporn Chuajedton founded a longan trading company as a sole proprietorship, focusing on dried longan production. This marked the start of a journey rooted in quality and opportunity.

2000

Scaling Up with a Strategic Factory

To meet growing demand from China, a new factory was established near Mae Sai, expanding production capacity and opening the door to international trade.

2006

Establishing J.K. Chanathan in Phayao

J.K. Chanathan was officially founded in Phayao, Thailand — a major longan supply hub — with the capacity to process up to 20,000 tons of fresh longan annually.

2014

Entering the Mango Market with Global Standards

A mango dehydration production line was launched. The company achieved GMP and HACCP Codex Alimentarius certifications, reinforcing its commitment to food safety and export readiness.

2020

Resilience and Recovery During the Pandemic

The COVID‒19 pandemic brought major challenges, but J.K. Chanathan adapted by entering new markets and rebuilding momentum through international trade.

Present Day

Rebranding as Season Crops Co., Ltd.

J.K. Chanathan is now Season Crops Co., Ltd., focusing on a wider variety of dried fruits and vegetables. The company is actively pursuing BRCGS certification to meet the highest global standards.

The Merger

Creating Harvest Season

Season Crops joined forces with Vathanagul Group, a leading marketing agency with over 30 years of experience. Together, they launched Harvest Season — a brand dedicated to delivering high‒quality Thai dried fruits and vegetables to customers worldwide, backed by expert marketing and deep production know‒how.

Tum
Chilli Soft Dried Mango

The sweet and spicy combo is fire! It’s my go‒to afternoon snack now. I’d just like a version with a milder kick for days I don’t want too much heat.

Aek
Natural Dried Pineapple

So fresh and tangy—tastes like real pineapple, not candy. Perfectly chewy, no complaints!

Berm
Soft Dried Mango

Really nice texture and not too sweet. Some pieces were a bit sticky together, but once opened—delicious.

Guillaume
Natural Dried Pineapple

Elegant and authentic taste—reminds me of fruit markets in Southeast Asia. Just a bit firm at first, but still very enjoyable.

JJ
Soft Dried Peach

This peach is legit. Super soft and naturally sweet. I wish the packs were bigger—I finish them too fast.

Pang
Chilli Soft Dried Mango

Bold flavor! I love the contrast of sweet and spicy. Would love a resealable pack though—it’s hard not to finish in one go.
